Outline Of The Position:

The Custodian is responsible for performing custodial services, minor maintenances and other related duties as required, and is accountable to maintain Tłı̨chǫ Wellness Centre’s offices, equipment and facilities in a healthy, safe, sanitary and functional manner. The Custodian cleans and cares for Tłı̨chǫ Wellness Centre’s offices, equipment and facilities to ensure they are maintained in a healthy, safe, sanitary and functional manner.

The incumbent will maintain storage areas for cleaning equipment, supplies and products and re-stocking in safe storage to ensure the safety of staff and public, ensure secure storage areas with a lock and key, safely store cleaning equipment, supplies and products, Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and products and report need for equipment repairs and purchases to supervisor as well as report damages and act of vandalism.


Education & Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), cleaning procedures, supplies, products and equipment.
  • Related work experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read cleaning supplies labels and instructions.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision, multitask and solve issues.
  • Ability to work in a team, on your own and in cross culture environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry 10–20 lbs and store items safely.
  • Familiarity with the Tłı̨chǫ language, culture and way of life.
  • Ability to use the English and Tłı̨chǫ languages is an asset.

WRRB 2026 calendar photo contest

The Wek'èezhìı Renewable Resources Board (WRRB) is seeking photograph submissions for its 2026 calendar.

This year, we are hoping to see photos of your favorite birds in Wek'èezhìı, including waterfowl, songbirds, migrant birds, raptors, or other birds.

WRRB is accepting high-resolution photos representing different birds throughout the year.

Please include:

- Species of bird

- Location of photo

- The month or season the photo was taken

- Photographer’s name and contact information

Selected photo winners will receive a WRRB swag bag, and one lucky winner will have their photo featured on the cover of our 2026 calendar.

The deadline for submitting photographs is May 31, 2025, at 5 p.m.
