The Tlicho online store is a creative outlet for the artwork of the Tlicho people. In this film John B. Lynn Turcotte, is the instructor, and is delighted with the dedication of the stitchers. Lynn stated, "not only are the participants learning new skills, but their artistic heritage is a huge part of the creative process. Quilting and sewing is fun and educational!"

Tłı̨chǫ Government Award luncheon was held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Whatì at the Mezi Community School. Celebrating the remarkable life of the late Dora Nitsiza for preserving and enhancing the Tłı̨chǫ Way of Life.
Her daughter, Cecilia Nitsiza accepted the award on behalf of her late mother, Dora Nitsiza, of Whatì for Culture Heritage and Spirituality category.
2017 nomination forms are available at all Tłı̨chǫ Government offices and at tlicho.ca. The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2017.
The Tłįchǫ Government and Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT)’s NWT Cumulative Impact Monitoring Program (CIMP) recently partnered together to host a regional Environmental Research and Monitoring Results workshop from January 31 to February 1, 2017.
