When the Tåîchô Government came into effect August 4, 2005, the Band Councils of Behchokö, Gamètì, Wekweetì and Whatì as well as the Treaty 11 Council business interests were brought together under the umbrella of Tåîchô Investment Corporation (TIC).

The Tåîchô Investment Corporation is owned by the Tåîchô Government for the Tåîchô people.  The TIC has a number of businesses and several joint venture partnerships with other groups and companies.

Mission

TIC goals include enhancing the economic self reliance, prosperity, and certainty for Tåîchô citizens by creating sustainable economic development.  In addition TIC supports Tåîchô traditional economy, youth involvement in businesses and professional development activities wherever possible.
