Policy & Procedures

A major role of the Tåîchô Community Services Agency is to determine policy for the programs, services and staff in our organization. Policy making is an extremely important process for a number of reasons:

  • Policy provides stability and continuity in our organization.
  • Policy saves time and effort. Written statements of intentions mean that “trails have already been made” that provide direction and guidance to the staff and the Board members. With good policy in place, both governance and management decisions can be made more quickly, with less debate.
