10th Anniversary of the Tlicho Government

August 4, 2005 is the effective date of the Tłįchǫ Agreement and is celebrated as the day the Tłįchǫ Nation was recognized as having the inherent right to self-government.  This is also the date the Tłįchǫ Constitution, a document created by our elders and approved by our Nation in 2000.

The Tłįchǫ Assembly also declares the August 4th as a recognized holiday.

Please note that the Tłįchǫ Government Offices will be closed on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 for Tłįchǫ Day.

Offices will re-open at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.
