Tłįchǫ Government and the Tłįchǫ Community Services Agency are very proud to announce the results of our Tłįchǫ Scholarships Awards.

2010 marks the 13th year of this annual competition open to Tłįchǫ citizens completing or returning to continue a program of study at the post secondary level.

In 2009, our program provided $600,000.00 in bursaries and scholarships and supported 189 in their post secondary programs.

The purpose of the scholarships is to recognize achievement and excellence, and encourage desire in students to go beyond expectations as a natural progression to professional practice.

These awards have been funded by Tłįchǫ Government with contributions from BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto (Diavik Diamonds Mines).

Each year it is encouraging to see that knowledge of the scholarship awards program is spreading and we look forward to receiving more entries as we endeavour to expand the number of sponsors for this event.
