The Tåîchô Assembly is made up of a Grand Chief elected by Tåîchô citizens, a Chief from each of the 4 Tåîchô Community Governments and two representatives of each Tåîchô community. These members are elected by the residents of their community. The Tåîchô Assembly sits at least 4 times per year in one of the 4 communities. The Tåîchô Assembly is the law making body for the Tåîchô Government.

The Chief's Executive Council is made up of a Grand Chief elected by Tåîchô citizens, and a Chief from each of the 4 Tåîchô Community Governments. The Chief's Executive Council oversees the Implementation of Tåîchô Laws.
