The 2012 Canada Day Poster Challenge is underway and the deadline for submitting a poster, along with an entry form, is March 9, 2012.
Each year, young people, from across the country, aged 5 to 18 are invited to submit an entry to the Canada Day Poster Challenge by designing a poster that shows their pride in our country. The year 2012 marks an important milestone in Canadian history: the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. For the 2012 edition of the Poster Challenge, participants are invited to submit artwork inspired by the theme 1812: The Fight for Canada.
Participants will have an opportunity to illustrate how the people, places, and events of the past have helped shape today’s Canada. The artwork of the national winner will become the official poster for Celebrate Canada, the 11-day period from June 21 to July 1. Winners will also receive great prizes!
!!! DO NOT FORGET !!!
Posters must be in colour.
